Life at Boon: Ashish Bhatia Develops Engineering Solutions and Customer Connections

The trucking and logistics industry poses its own set of unique challenges. Engineers at Boon are committed to developing exciting, creative solutions that help our customers achieve their business goals. Every day, Boon CTO Ashish Bhatia finds valuable learning opportunities, discovers innovative approaches to work, and creates impactful solutions with real-world value.

New Challenges, New Opportunities

A career-long software engineer, Ashish worked at a wide range of innovative tech giants and startup companies before coming to Boon. Despite the diversity of his experience, the most appealing part of his work has remained constant throughout his career: “I like working on difficult and interesting engineering problems,” he explains. When Ashish joined Boon, he found plenty of new challenges that allowed him to take advantage of his creative drive and desire to innovate.

While he didn’t know much about the trucking and logistics industry before joining, he adapted quickly to the change. “What excites me most about Boon is how we’re solving interesting engineering challenges in the trucking and logistics industry,” Ashish reflects. Boon is positioned at the forefront of digital transformation to meet our customers' needs—ranging from automating paper-heavy workflows to leveraging AI and data for fleet operations optimization. Software engineers like Ashish play pivotal roles in ensuring our solutions are effective, efficient, and individualized.

Connection Through Technology

As he explored this new sector, Ashish discovered how Boon is leading the way in applying advanced technology and software to the industry’s longstanding problems. “The logistics industry is underserved as far as technology is concerned,” he explains. “There are tons of disparate systems and different ways in which the data flows—not just between systems, but between our customers and their customers.”

This complexity of these systems creates many tricky real-world problems, but also shines light on opportunities for increased interaction and technical support. For Ashish, getting a clear perspective and a better grasp of this array of systems and workflows is a key challenge for any organization in this industry.

Boon is making it easier to navigate these extensive chains of communication and data and ensure that crucial connections hold strong. Ashish found that working with Boon has led him to tackle these kinds of problems with a new approach in mind. His spirit of openness and ingenuity aligns perfectly with Boon’s use of breakthrough technology to tackle important technical problems daily.

Problem-Solving and Bridge-Building

Boon’s integrated AI platform offers a way for companies to streamline their day-to-day fleet operations, solve other logistical problems they encounter regularly, and build bridges between customers and organizations. Our team of software engineers is essential to meeting our goal of supporting customers with their unique needs and objectives.
